Set in the peaceful village of Torcross near Dartmouth, At the Beach offers a relaxing holiday destination while still having plenty in the local area to keep you entertained.
'At the Beach' is a striking development of luxury apartments and cottages on the very edge of the sea at Slapton Sands. The development is the transformation of the former 'Torcross Hotel', a prominent and well known local landmark built in the late 1800's.
Many of the hotel's original features have been retained and enhanced resulting in a stunning combination of Victorian elegance and modern day luxury. The majority of apartments have stunning coastal views whilst the cottages overlook the beautiful Devon countryside. Many have Juliet or full balconies, or patio areas providing the perfect place to enjoy the warm Summer evenings. All apartments and cottages have one allocated parking space.
The apartments are situated in the middle of 3 miles of single beach at the end of a strip of land separating the Slapton Ley, a unique freshwater lake, and Start Bay. Torcross is also home to the 'Start Bay Inn' which is renowned for its local fish dishes and tasty treats.
Dartmouth and Salcombe are a short drive away, with both offering a choice of fine restaurants, cafes, bars, unique shops and attractions.
